Out Help
Privacy

Your information stays yours.

This page explains what information Out-Help collects, why we need it, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

01

What information we collect

Out-Help is designed to work without requiring you to create an account. For the core Honor Wall experience, we primarily need the information necessary to create and manage your public Helper listing.

X handle

The X handle you enter is used as the public identity displayed on the Honor Wall.

Payment information

Payments are processed through our payment provider. Out-Help does not need your full card details to operate your listing.

Transaction information

We may receive information such as payment status, transaction identifiers, amount, currency, and other information needed to confirm and manage a purchase.

Technical information

Our website and infrastructure may process basic technical information such as browser, device, IP address, request information, and security-related data.

02

What appears publicly

Honor Wall

Your submitted X handle is public.

Anyone visiting Out-Help may be able to see the handle, position, and associated public listing information shown on the Honor Wall.

Please only submit an X handle that you are comfortable having displayed publicly.

Out-Help does not require your real name to be displayed on the Honor Wall.

03

How we use your information

We use information we collect to:

Create and display your Helper listing.

Calculate and update the position of listings on the Honor Wall.

Confirm payments and update listing totals after successful payment verification.

Detect unusual activity and help keep the service secure.

Respond to support requests and payment-related questions.

Maintain, improve, and operate the Out-Help service.

Meet applicable legal, accounting, tax, and payment requirements.

04

Payments are handled separately

Out-Help uses a third-party payment provider to process payments. When you proceed to checkout, information required for payment processing may be handled by that provider under its own privacy practices and terms.

Out-Help receives the information necessary to confirm and record the transaction, but does not need to store your full payment-card details.

Payment confirmation is used to safely determine when a listing should be created or updated on the Honor Wall.

05

No account is required

Out-Help's current version does not require a traditional username-and-password account for purchasing a Helper listing.

This means there is no Out-Help password for you to manage for the core listing flow.

We still retain the transaction and listing information needed to operate the service and keep the Honor Wall accurate.

06

Cookies and similar technology

Out-Help may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies where they are necessary to operate the website, remember preferences, maintain functionality, or help protect the service.

Third-party services used by Out-Help may also use their own technologies according to their respective policies.

You can manage cookie settings through your browser, although some website functionality may depend on certain technologies being available.

07

Services we work with

Out-Help relies on selected third-party services to operate its website and payments.

Hosting & infrastructure

Services such as Vercel and Supabase may process information needed to host, secure, and operate the application.

Payments

Our payment provider processes payment information and provides transaction confirmation.

These providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

08

Keeping information safe

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information used by Out-Help.

Sensitive server-side credentials and payment-related operations are designed to remain on the server rather than being exposed through the public browser application.

No online service can promise absolute security, but we work to keep the information we handle appropriately protected.

09

How long information is kept

We keep listing and transaction information for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain accurate records, resolve questions, and meet applicable legal, accounting, tax, and payment obligations.

Public Honor Wall information may remain visible while the associated listing is part of the wall, subject to Out-Help's rules and moderation decisions.

10

Your choices and requests

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information held by Out-Help, including requesting access, correction, deletion, or information about how your data is used.

If you have a privacy-related request, contact Out-Help with enough information for us to understand and review the request.

Public handle

If your request concerns an X handle displayed on the Honor Wall, please include that handle when contacting us.

11

Children's privacy

Out-Help is intended for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly design the service for children to create or purchase Helper listings.

If you believe information has been submitted by someone under the applicable age requirement, please contact us so it can be reviewed appropriately.

12

The Impact page and profit gifts

Out-Help may publish information about gifts made from company profits to children's homes on its Impact page.

Where published, this may include information such as the recipient home, gift amount, date, and available receipt or supporting record.

This information describes Out-Help's own company activity. It does not publish your private payment details or identify your individual purchase as a particular gift.

13

Changes to this privacy page

We may update this Privacy Policy as Out-Help evolves, our services change, or applicable requirements develop.

The latest version will always be available on this page.
